You know better.
So why can't you do better when
it matters most?
A 12-week private coaching programme for leaders who are tired of knowing exactly what to do and still defaulting to the same patterns under pressure.
Sound familiar?
You had the answer in that meeting. You stayed silent.
You rewrote that email four times because you couldn't trust your own words the first time around. You said yes to another project you didn't have capacity for because saying no felt like a risk to how people see you. You have been putting off a feedback conversation for months because the discomfort of having it feels worse than the cost of avoiding it.
You aren't lacking in capability. You aren't underprepared. You are certainly not lazy. You are someone who has done the courses, read the books, collected the frameworks, and earned every seat at every table you sit at.
So why does it still feel like this?
Why does knowing better never quite translate to doing better when the pressure is on?
Something takes over in those moments. You had it planned. You knew what you wanted to say. Then the moment arrived and your mind went blank. Or you over-explained when you meant to be clear. Or you held back when you meant to speak up. Or you agreed when you meant to push back. And afterwards you replayed it for hours thinking "why did I do that?"
It isn't you. It is a protection response that your body learned a long time ago to keep you safe from judgement, failure, and exposure. It fires before you get a chance to choose. That response made sense once. It kept you performing, achieving, and surviving. It just isn't serving you anymore.
You are leading from protection
Protection patterns are the strategies your body built to keep you safe. They aren't character flaws. They made sense once. They have outlived their purpose. And they are running your leadership right now.
- You stay quiet in meetings when you have something valuable to say, then replay the moment for days wondering why you didn't speak up
- You say yes when you mean no because the idea of someone thinking you can't handle it is worse than being buried under the workload
- You over-prepare for everything because being caught without an answer feels like being exposed
- You hold yourself to a standard you would never dream of applying to anyone else on your team
- You avoid difficult conversations because you are more afraid of the discomfort than the cost of months of silence
- You wait until you feel ready, even though you never quite get there
- You need someone else to tell you that you did a good job before you believe it yourself
- You want people to think you are so resilient, so unbreakable, that no matter what life throws at you, you can handle it. Even when you are running on empty.
That last one is the one nobody talks about. Because it doesn't look like self-doubt from the outside. It looks like high performance. It looks like commitment. It looks like someone who has their act together.
From the inside, it feels like exhaustion. Like something is missing. Like you are working harder and harder and the gap between how you present and how you actually feel keeps getting wider.
Protection disguised as performance is the most common pattern in high-achieving leaders. It works. It also costs you everything.
What does another year of this actually cost you?
Think about it honestly for a moment.
The promotion you talked yourself out of applying for because you convinced yourself you were not ready yet. The team member you lost because you avoided the conversation that might have kept them. The relationship that absorbs your work stress every evening because you bring the anxiety home and can't switch it off. The version of yourself you keep pushing to "someday" while you grind through another week of proving you can handle it all.
Another leadership course won't fix this. Another book won't fix this. Another 360 feedback report won't fix this. Another two-day workshop won't fix this. You have done all of those things. They gave you more skills to layer on top of the same protection patterns that fire before you get a chance to use any of them.
Skills on top of self-doubt don't work.
You can present beautifully when you feel safe and freeze when the stakes rise. You can give feedback on a good day and avoid the conversation for months when your own fear of conflict is triggered. You can make a decision with confidence when the data is clear and spiral into overthinking when the consequences are visible.
The skills aren't the problem. The foundation underneath them is.
What if you could actually trust yourself in those moments?
- Imagine walking into the meeting and saying the thing. The first time. Without rehearsing it six different ways in your head first.
- Imagine holding the boundary without over-explaining, without justifying, without the two-hour anxiety spiral afterwards about whether they still respect you.
- Imagine having the difficult conversation within days instead of months because you have a system for it and you trust yourself to hold the discomfort.
- Imagine making the decision and moving forward. Without seeking three more opinions. Without rewriting it. Without the quiet dread that you have got it wrong.
- Imagine receiving feedback and letting it land as information. Not as evidence that something is fundamentally wrong with you.
That isn't a fantasy. That is presence. And it is a skill you can build.
Self-leadership is the foundation that every other leadership skill is built on. Once it is in place, every framework you have ever learned, every course you have ever taken, and every piece of feedback you have ever received becomes usable in the moments it was designed for.
This isn't another set of tools to layer on top of what is already not working. This is the operating system underneath. The one that determines whether all those other tools are actually accessible when the pressure arrives.
From Protection to
Presence
A 12-week private coaching programme that builds the self-leadership foundation so you can stop leading from self-doubt and start leading from self-trust.
Built on the CAANN framework: Clarity, Accountability, Aligned Action, Nerve, Navigation. Five pillars, delivered in the order self-trust actually develops.

I Built This Because I Lived This
I'm Jaimee. I'm an Olympian, a certified coach, and a senior HR leader. I've spent close to two decades inside high-performance environments, across elite sport, senior leadership, and people and culture roles.
I've sat across from brilliant, capable leaders who hesitated in the moments that mattered. Who over-prepared for conversations they could have handled in their sleep. Who held back their best thinking because certainty never quite arrived. Self-doubt was running their operating system, and most of them had no idea.
For years, I was like this. I replayed conversations for days. I over-prepared for everything. I held back until I felt ready, which meant I held back a lot. The patterns that kept me comfortable early career started catching up in senior roles.
The shift came when I stopped trying to think my way to confidence and started building it through small, aligned actions that actually work under pressure.
That process became my methodology, grounded in almost two decades of lived experience across sport, leadership, and coaching, and built on the belief that high performance gets to feel good. The protection patterns aren't a flaw in you. They're an outdated operating system. This programme rewires it.
This isn't another leadership programme
Most leadership development teaches communication skills, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, executive presence. Those are important. They are also useless if the person learning them defaults to protection the moment the pressure rises.
This programme is different because it addresses the thing underneath. The self-doubt that makes you hesitate. The protection patterns that fire before you can access the skills you already have. The identity confusion that makes you perform leadership instead of practise it.
The CAANN framework isn't borrowed theory. It is the actual sequence of how self-trust develops, mapped from almost 20 years of lived experience in high performance, HR leadership, and multiple certifications. Clarity gives you self-awareness. Accountability gives you ownership. Aligned Action gives you direction. Nerve gives you courage. Navigation gives you sustainability. By the end of 12 weeks, you have all five. That is what self-leadership is built from.
Once this foundation is in place, every leadership investment you have made or will ever make works differently. The frameworks become usable. The feedback becomes actionable. The skills become accessible under pressure, not just in low-stakes practice environments.
12 weeks of private coaching,
designed for how you actually live
This isn't a course you watch and forget. It is a coaching experience you live inside. Every single week, you receive dedicated 1:1 coaching attention through the modality that actually creates lasting change.
Weekly voice note coaching (your primary coaching modality)
Up to 60 minutes of dedicated coaching time on non-call weeks from a single pool. You voice note your coach as leadership moments happen during the week. Your coach listens to everything and responds within 48 hours with a consolidated coaching voice note covering patterns, progress, and next steps. This isn't supplementary support between calls. This IS the coaching. Protection patterns don't schedule themselves around a Thursday afternoon appointment. Voice note coaching meets you in the real moments, not six days after they happened.
4 live coaching calls (60 minutes each)
Positioned at the four transition points where live coaching adds something voice notes can't. Week 1 builds the relationship and coaches from your baseline data. Week 5 catches you in the messy middle. Week 9 coaches the difficult conversation live. Week 12 is celebration, consolidation, and release. You bring the content. Your coach brings the questions beneath the questions.
12 lessons developed for your real life
Around 20 minutes each, developed so you can listen on the go or sit down with a coffee (or wine) and watch along. Each lesson creates awareness, builds insight, and introduces the weekly action. We get super focused on what matters most to move the needle. No 90-minute modules. No content you won't finish.
12 weekly guides
Your private thinking space. The exercises that turn insight into behaviour change. Your coach doesn't read your guide. You write for yourself, not for anyone else. The voice note prompts pull the coachable material out and into the coaching exchange. On call weeks, you bring the guide to the session and your coach works through it with you live.
Protection & Presence Leadership Cards
A proprietary card system that gives you an emotional vocabulary for the entire programme. 24 Protection cards mapped to six patterns. 24 Presence cards mapped to five pillars of self-trust. You sort them intuitively in onboarding before you know what the patterns are. You sort them again at the end of 12 weeks. The visual comparison is one of the most powerful moments in the programme.
Self-Trust Scorecard (3 checkpoints)
Measured at onboarding, Week 6, and Week 12. Three data points across the arc so you can see the transformation, not just feel it. Real numbers. Real evidence.
Full onboarding sequence
Programme walkthrough video, intake form, baseline scorecard, and your first card sort. Completed before Week 1 so your first coaching call is a full session from minute one. Coaching from the moment we begin.
Resources library
Templates, scripts, frameworks, and bonus modules including Leading Through Change for when real organisational uncertainty lands on your desk.
Four phases. One transformation.
Each phase builds on the one before it. The order is the method. You can't shortcut self-trust.
The Mirror
Who are you underneath the performance? Your identity, your values, your protection patterns, where your energy actually goes. You can't change what you haven't named. This phase builds the clarity to see what is actually driving your leadership.
The Rewire
You learn to regulate under pressure, take radical responsibility for your part, and separate your worth from your outcomes. This is the hardest phase. It is also where the real shift happens. The messy middle is by design.
Performance in Motion
You stop performing leadership and start practising it. Authentic influence from your values. A vision connected to real timelines. The difficult conversation you have been avoiding. Visible leadership in spaces where you have been shrinking. This is where the internal work meets real leadership moments.
Legacy in Action
The systems that keep you in presence when coaching ends. Your personal operating system. Your legacy, activated now. This is where you become self-led.
After 12 weeks, this is what changes
These aren't vague promises of confidence. These are the specific, observable, felt shifts that happen when a leader moves from protection to presence.
- You speak in the meeting when the thought is there, instead of rehearsing it until the moment has passed
- You hold the boundary without needing to justify, argue, defend, or explain it
- You have the difficult conversation within days because you have a system for it and you trust yourself to hold the discomfort
- You make the decision and move, instead of seeking three more opinions to cover yourself
- You receive feedback as information, not as evidence that you aren't good enough
- You stop tying your worth to the outcome of every project, presentation, and performance review
- You trust your own judgement under pressure. And you have evidence that you can.
Self-leadership isn't just a personal development exercise. It is a leadership strategy. Once this foundation is in place, the way you make decisions, hold conversations, influence your team, and navigate uncertainty shifts permanently. Every leadership skill you learn after this programme will land differently because the self-doubt that used to block it has been addressed at the root.
Is this you?
This programme isn't about your title. It is about your experience. If you recognise yourself in what you have just read, you are in the right place.
Let's put this in perspective
You have already invested thousands in leadership development. Management courses, team offsites, 360 reviews, coaching conversations, books, workshops. None of that investment is wasted. It just hasn't been fully accessible because the operating system underneath was still running on protection.
This programme doesn't replace those investments. It unlocks them. Every framework you have ever learned, every piece of feedback you have ever received, every skill you have ever built becomes usable under pressure once the self-doubt that blocks them is addressed at the root.
Think about what staying in protection mode is actually costing you right now:
◆ The promotion you talked yourself out of before anyone else had the chance to say no
◆ The salary gap between where you are and where you would be if you had backed yourself 12 months ago
◆ The mental energy spent replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, and over-preparing for things you could handle in your sleep
◆ The leadership development you have already paid for that sits unused because your protection patterns fire before you can access it
◆ The career trajectory that stalls when capable leaders hesitate instead of act, avoid instead of lead, and wait instead of move
◆ The confidence your team needs from you that they are not getting because you are managing your own doubt instead of leading from clarity
One missed promotion alone could cost you $15,000 to $30,000 in salary over 12 months. One year of hesitation on a career move compounds across every year that follows it. The leadership programmes you have already completed are sitting at a fraction of their value because the foundation they need to work on isn't in place yet.
This programme builds that foundation. And once it is in place, everything you invest in your development from here forward lands differently. The return on this isn't just for the next 12 weeks. It's for the rest of your career.

Questions you might have
How is this different from other leadership coaching?
Most coaching teaches leadership skills. Communication, influence, stakeholder management. Those are valuable. They are also useless if your protection patterns fire before you can access them. This programme builds the self-leadership foundation that makes all of those skills actually work under pressure. It addresses the identity, the patterns, the regulation, the courage, and the sustainability. The complete operating system.
What does voice note coaching actually look like?
You listen to the weekly lesson, complete the guide, and voice note your coach with what came up. Throughout the week, you capture real leadership moments as they happen. Your coach listens to everything and responds within 48 hours with a consolidated coaching voice note. You receive dedicated coaching attention every single week. The voice note model means coaching stays close to the moments that actually matter, not six days after the moment has passed. Think of it as having a coach in your pocket.
I am really busy. How much time does this take?
The lessons are around 20 minutes each, designed to listen on the go. You are busy, so we get super focused on what matters most to move the needle. Each week is either a 60-minute coaching call or up to 60 minutes of voice note coaching, plus the weekly guide which is designed in the same way: only what you need and nothing you don't.
Why only 4 live calls across 12 weeks?
Because you are getting coaching every single week through voice notes. The 4 live calls are positioned at the transition points where live coaching adds something voice notes can't: relationship building (Week 1), the messy middle (Week 5), coaching the difficult conversation (Week 9), and consolidation (Week 12). You are getting more coaching contact across 12 weeks, not less. The modality is different. The depth is the same.
Do I have to be a people leader to benefit from this?
No. If you lead through influence, manage projects, hold expertise that others rely on, or are on the trajectory toward a formal leadership role, this work applies to you. The protection patterns that drive hesitation, overthinking, perfectionism, and avoidance aren't limited to people with direct reports. If you recognise yourself in what you have read on this page, the programme was built for you.
What if I'm not sure it is the right time?
The strategy call exists for exactly this reason. 30 minutes. An honest conversation about where you are and whether this is the right fit. If it isn't, I will tell you. There is no pitch. There is no pressure. Just clarity.
You don't need
more leadership skills.
You need to trust yourself.
Twelve weeks from now, you will have the internal operating system that makes everything else work. Let's talk about whether this is the right next step for you.
